The Bank offers something for everyones tastes whether it?s from our Bar Lunch and Bar Supper menu, or a drink from the largest selection of real ales, draught beers, wines and spirits in the area.
The Bank has been developed into our family run establishment with quality and service in mind, with leather seating, open fires, 3 large screen tvs showing sky entertainment proving a big hit with locals and visitors alike. Homely, traditionally home cooked food prepared from quality local produce served in our dining conservatory and also in the Garden Bar.
The large mature gardens offers what has been described as a "suntrap" surrounded with substantial stone walls for privacy. The beer garden is open when weather permits and offers a childrens play area to keep all the family happy!!!
We are only 9 miles from all the famous golf courses in St Andrews, but we also have Carnoustie, Kingsbarns and Charleston on our Doorstep.

“We stayed here for 2 nights, as part of a voucher deal received as a gift.We had a lovely time, the room was spacious and well appointed, the bed huge. We had a view of the harbour where the river Dreel meets the Firth of Forth. The bathroom was large, plentiful hot water for baths and showers, the shower was powerful. The room was warm and had drinks making facilities. We ate here on the first night, food was delicious and the staff very attentive. We would return here happily. Anstruther is a picturesque town and we walked up the coast to Crail.”
“We were Room 8 and although we appreciated ground Floor there was quite a bit of noise from above floor. The parking was an issue for us as my Husband is a bit challenged walking any more than short distances, we could not be fitted in for Dinner second night but was advised the Waterfront could take us and the girl who served us was first class speedy service tasty food.”
